I successfully got an opportunity to interview the kindest author I have ever spoken to: Thomas McRae.

I hope you all enjoy reading and knowing more about him just as much as I did!

1.Which book or author inspired you to be an author?

A.Hands down without a doubt the authors who inspired me are Nikki Giovanni, Maya Angelou, Alex Haley, Langston Hughes and Richard Wright because their styles and

Crafts come second to none.

2.What is your favorite book from your childhood?

A.My favorite childhood book that I can remember was Cat in the Hat. Because my mother read it all the time to my brother and I when we were kids. She was very big on reading and teaching us from an early start.

3.What do you like doing when you’re not reading?

A.I love watching movies, writing poetry and short fiction novels. I enjoy hanging with my folks sometime my brother, LOL! And believe it or not I like imaging my life with a great woman who loves my sensitive kind nature. I also fantasize about being married with kids I look forward being a family man and settling down.

4.As a child what did you want to be when you grew up?

5.During junior high school I wanted to be a veterinarian, once I got in to high school I wanted to be a writer but my confidence level was extremely low do to a poor support system. It took me a while but I finally found my confidence and determination to become a well-known and respected author.
