Book Review for: Noctural Hours by Ruqayya Shaheed

I never knew a few words combined together could make you feel so many things.
Nocturnal Hours is the type of book that wouldn’t let you sleep at night because you’ll end up thinking and admiring the depths of each and every word the poetries held. It’ll make you feel – so much so that at some points you’ll probably see Goosebumps all over your body, too. That’s exactly how I felt!
Some of the works punched me directly in my guts while some healed me beautifully.
I had decided to take a picture of my favorite work from the book and share it along with this review, but as soon as I finished the book, I realized I had clicked just too many poems as my favorite and if I posted them all here it’ll probably turn into an e-book! LOL!
5 out of 5 stars for this beauty. ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
"Through troubled waters
And nocturnal hours,
She navigated with a broken compass
And a broken heart.
It was no wonder,
She never found home." - Ruqayya Shaheed, Nocturnal Hours
