The Shatter Me series never fails to intrigue me, nor does it ever fail to entertain me. I don’t know how it is even possible to fall so madly in love with a fictional character. Especially when the character ‘Warner Anderson’ doesn’t really exist in real life. He never fails to amaze me with his dark charms. I am sure I’m not the only one who thinks the same.
‘Ignite Me’ really ignited my reading experience. This book had SO many breathtaking suspense that I just couldn’t keep the book down.
The very few things I didn’t like about Ignite me was that Warner, my favorite fictional boyfriend, looked and sounded so much more sad and vulnerable in this specific book. That was kind of a turn off for me. And also, I didn’t like how the story abruptly ended, I wish the author had given a little bit more spice into the ending of this book just like she had given in all her other fantastic books. Even though this book from the Shatter Me series wasn’t my most favorite, it gave me almost all the entertainment I expected, almost...
I would like to end this review by saying: if you wish to get into a crazy fandom and fiercely fall in love with fictional characters, this book’s for you. But remember, this book is nowhere near being light. It a dystopian novel and it’ll surely get to your heart somehow.
A 3.5 out of 5 stars from me because even though I didn’t like a few things in this book, it was still quite entertaining.
My favorite quotes: “In a world where there is so much to grieve and so little good to take? I grieve nothing. I take everything.” AND “I am no longer afraid of fear, and I will not let it rule me. Fear will learn to fear me.”
