I totally loved Finding Audrey. This book was so funny that I crazily laughed out loud a couple of times without even noticing, which made my family ask me most of the time ‘what are you laughing about? Tell meee’. It’s the perfect read for a new reader who wants to read something different. This book gives us a very important social message which we never usually consider thinking about too much, that is mental illness. Mental health is just as important as physical health. It deserves to be treated equally.
All the characters in this book were hilarious, really! You wouldn’t know how funny they actually are until you read the book yourself. Plus the book gave me a lot of tips on what to drink next time I visit Starbucks, for example ‘Caramel Frapachinno’ and a few other names that I don’t remember right now 😂
I would give this book a 4/5 Stars
This book is about a 14 year old girl who is suffering from a serious Social Anxiety Disorder and about her journey to a better and healthier life.
My favorite quote: It won’t be forever. You’ll be in the dark for as long as it takes and then you’ll come out.”
