*Warning* Do not read this book if you hate being heartbroken by amazing authors.
If Six of Crows was a heartbreaking novel, then Crooked Kingdom was a heart wrenching one. I genuinely felt the *pang* of a heartbreak in my heart just when I was reading the book. I might sound too dramatic, but it’s true!
This book was like a train; it didn’t stop entertaining me the whole way.
As I kept reading the book I learned more about each and every character and their histories. The author made me fall in love with every single one of them.
I’d give this book a 4/5 stars.
My favorite quote from Crooked Kingdom was: “Crows remember human faces. They remember the people who feed them, who are kind to them. And the people who wrong them too. They don’t forget. They tell each other who to look after and who to watch out for.”
