Book Review for: Confess by Colleen Hoover

Skipping my precious sleeping time seemed totally worth it if it meant I got to read another chapter from this amazing novel. Confess by Colleen Hoover made me experience love, and it made me experience what falling in love felt like.
Oh My God... Owen Mason Gentry. I think I just fell in love with another fictional character all over again… Even though I’ve fallen in love with so many fictional characters so many times, I’ve lost count!
I genuinely want to read every single book this author has ever written. I’ve only read two so far, and I can proudly say that none of them disappointed me, especially Confess.
I mean, how can a book touch my feelings in just one chapter? That never, EVER happened before. It always takes me around 4 to 5 chapters to start feeling something for the book characters – whether its love, hatred or grief, it always takes time for me. But this book didn’t.
Confess was unpredictable through and through, so much so that it made my sleep seem secondary because the book itself was so interesting.
Ok, now comes the part where I explain why I covered up the cover of this book. If you’re wondering why I hid the faces of the characters on top of the book with my scarf, I’ll tell you why.
It’s because I freakin’ hate those faces, only and only because they do not match my imagination OR THE CHARACTERS whatsoever, not one bit. Disappointment is a really small word for what I feel about the cast. The guy is no way in hell like the 21 year old – innocent eyed – Owen. He could’ve played Trey better.
I’ll give this book a total ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐/5 stars. A book worth reading if you love romance.
